Kunst station Spaarnwoude

HAARLEM - Mocht je op station Spaarwoude staan of er met de trein langs rijden dan ontkom je niet aan een muur van 60 meter lang bespoten met graffiti door twee kunstenaars Sandro & Ron. In opdracht van de gemeente Haarlem kregen deze jongens de taak om op de lange muur "Waarderpolder" te spuiten met bedrijvigheid die zich in de polder bevind en andere typisch Haarlemse dingen.

De PTT toren, Oude Droste fabriek, Trein de hondenkop, het wapen van Haarlem, een tientje met Frans Hals (denk aan museum en Joh. Enschedé), De eerste stoom locomotief Amsterdam Haarlem de Arend en de tekst "Waarderpolder" staan op de muur gespoten.

Als alles af is dan zullen er in totaal zo`n 400 spuitbussen de muur bij station Spaarnwoude sieren.

A lot of graffiti writers collect spraycans, beside their photo collection. It all started with your first Sparvar and now you collect all kind of cans. The website "cap matches color" is all about vintage spraycans like Krylon, Rust-oleum, Red Devil, Enamel and other brands.. It's fun to see all those cans wich it started with some 30 years ago. Surf through the color charts, other collections, adds or some of the interviews with oldskool writers. It's all there - I only miss a marketplace to trade spraycans....
